Michelle Sanchez is a certified nurse midwife (CNM) and registered nurse with almost 15 years of clinical experience in maternity units, including labor and delivery. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degee and CNM certification at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. Michelle received her nursing degree (registered nurse) at Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing and received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at Temple University, both in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before joining Capital Health, Michelle was a nurse in Labor & Delivery at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
Michelle is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the Midwives of Color. During her free time, she enjoys designing, creating, and decorating for special occasions such as weddings, birthday parties, and baby showers. This adjacent passion of hers (aside from being a midwife) came about after orchestrating her own vow renewal ceremony. Michelle is both devoted to God and her childhood sweetheart with whom she has been married to for more than 17 years. She also enjoys traveling abroad to experience new cultures and is an avid Disney lover.
