Our Mobility Assistance Vehicle (MAV) service provides transportation to patients with no means of transportation to outpatient appointments and can assist with hospital discharges. Mobility Assistance Vehicles provide transport of patients that primarily use a wheelchair for mobility for patients that need additional assistance. These specialty vehicles allow the patient's own wheelchair to be properly secured in the vehicle, or the driver can provide a wheelchair if one is not available.
These services are available to patients going to a Capital Health physician or facility. To schedule transportation, contact the office where your appointment is scheduled.
