Lung Navigation Program

Our lung cancer nurse navigator will help guide you through the health care system and ease any fears along the way. Specially trained as an oncology nurse, the navigator helps individuals from an initial diagnosis through the course of treatment. Our lung cancer nurse navigator can:

  • Answer questions and help you understand your lung cancer treatment plan
  • Help facilitate communication between you and your physicians
  • Direct you to cancer resources and community support services
  • Provide emotional and motivational support
  • Help get answers to your questions in an efficient and timely manner
  • Assist with scheduling your appointments
  • Provide ongoing support through the Capital Health Survivorship Program and other support groups
