Secretaries

Claudia Fields

Claudia Fields is a vital and active member of the Capital Health Cancer Center. She spearheads the preparation and agenda for the Center’s numerous patient case conferences. These multidisciplinary meetings include a wide range of medical experts and staff from across the organization who meet regularly to discuss patient’s diagnostic, treatment, and cancer care plans. She ensures all presentations, scans, pathology, and other critical reports are available in order to provide patients with high-quality, holistic, and coordinated cancer care. She assists the patient navigator with transportation needs for our Cancer Center patients, and also provides administrative backup support to other team members. Prior to joining Capital Health, Claudia held various marketing and management positions developing and implementing strategies to improve customer relationships across the tristate area. She received her bachelor’s degree in business from Rider University.

Amy Van Der Poel
Department Secretary

Amy has been with Capital Health since 2007 and in healthcare for more than 28 years. As a medical secretary, she is often a patient’s first point of contact scheduling appointments, coordinating patient’s visits throughout their treatment, and follow-up with patients and physicians. She works with the patient’s healthcare team to ensure efficient and timely treatments. Amy graduated with a Associates of Arts. degree in Police Administration from Bucks County Community College. Her goal is to help where she can and to provide exceptional patient care.
