TICI score reflects successful revascularization of the vessel and return of blood flow after mechanical intervention. Based on TICI score  2016 YTD through July. Graph shows the percent of patients who had successful endovascular treatment of a blocked blood vessel causing a stroke treated at Capital Health compared to 5 recent articles in the New England Journal of Medicine. These articles were the foundation for changing the American Heart Association/Stroke Association Guidelines for the Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke. Treatment and outcome for acute ischemic stroke at Capital Health is on par with national and international data.

Graph shows the percent of patients who had a good outcome (mRS 0-2) in patients treated at Capital Health compared to 5 recent  articles in the New England Journal of Medicine. These articles were the foundation for changing the American Heart Association/Stroke Association Guidelines for the Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke.
