Patients at the Center for Neuro-Oncology are treated by a neurosurgical and neuro-oncology team of physicians with more experience than any other team in the region. Our nurse navigator also provides support and can answer questions, help patients navigate the services they need, and facilitate communication between patients and their physicians.
Our director of Neurosurgical Oncology, Dr. Navid Redjal, has led neurosurgical oncology programs at some of the country’s premiere academic neurosurgery and neurology institutions when it comes to brain and spinal tumors. Dr. Redjal is a Harvard-trained neurosurgeon with extensive research and clinical background in neuro-oncology. He has been involved in significant translational brain cancer research and neuro-oncology clinical trials with research fellowships at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
