Information Sessions

Information sessions at the School of Nursing are held August through June on the first Thursday of the month at 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM (unless it is a holiday). Come and speak to a school of nursing instructor and tour the facility.

Graduate Satisfaction

In response to program satisfaction surveys, the graduates of Capital Health School of Nursing felt they were well prepared and competent to function as beginning nurses.

Employment Pattern

Most recent graduates are primarily employed in acute care settings. Other opportunities for employment include long term care facilities, dialysis centers and community agencies.

Articulation

Many graduates continue to pursue their education for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Transfer and/or advanced standing is available with other colleges and universities through the New Jersey Statewide Articulation Plan. The state of Pennsylvania also recognizes the basic preparation of students through the Pennsylvania Nurses Association Voluntary Statewide Articulation Plan.
