Randi Protter, MD, NCMP, serves as medical director of the Capital Health Center for Women's Health, an innovative new practice that specializes in the unique medical and health needs of women of all ages, with an emphasis on patient convenience.

Dr. Protter is board certified by the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine. She received her MD degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed a three-year medical residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey's Primary Care residency program at St. Peter's Medical Center, where she pursued specials studies and experiences in women’s health. Dr. Protter also received credentialing as a Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP) by the North American Menopause Society, recognizing her expertise in the field of menopause. She received a BS in Biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Protter is a clinical instructor in the Department of Medicine of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Prior to joining Capital Health, she was the medical director of the Women's Health and Counseling Center in Somerville, N.J.

Among Dr. Protter's awards is recognition as the USA honoree by the United Nations Association for contributing to “Women's Rights, Empowerment and Gender Equity.” She was named Outstanding Woman of the Year in Medicine by the Somerset County Commission on the Status of Women and received the Susan G. Komen Hero Award.

Dr. Protter is a frequently-invited speaker on women's health issues and has also appeared on television on “Later Today,” “The Today Show” and “Good Morning New Jersey.”

Sally A. Mravcak, MD, LAc

Dr. Mravcak is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a graduate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency at Somerset Medical Center. Dr. Mravcak did a fellowship in Women’s Health with UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She also completed post-graduate training in Medical Acupuncture at Helms Medical Institute and is a licensed acupuncturist. She serves as a volunteer Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and has been teaching medical students since 2005. Dr. Mravcak has presented on women's health topics to academic and community groups and has been published in multiple medical journals.

Dr. Sarah J. WistreichSarah J. Wistreich, DO

Dr. Wistreich is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  She is a graduate of UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed her residency, including the Women’s Health Fellowship Track, at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  Dr. Wistreich received her BA in Biology from Ithaca College.  She has conducted research and numerous presentations in the area of women’s health.



Kathleen WoodsKathleen Woods, MSN, FNP-BC

Kathleen received her nursing degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange N.J. and completed her Master's Degree in Nursing at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, N.J. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse practitioner with more than 20 years experience in the nursing field. She has practiced pediatrics, women's health, geriatrics, and family care for the past 9 years. Her history as an RN includes cardiac and intensive care as well as development of a research program running pharmaceutical clinical trials for cardiac and cholesterol medications.
