Board Certified Sleep Physician, AASM Board Member Joins Capital Health Center for Sleep Medicine

Trenton, NJ—Dr. Amy J. Aronsky, a board certified sleep medicine physician, has recently joined the medical staff at Capital Health Center for Sleep Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, sleep disorders medicine, and behavioral sleep medicine.

In addition to her board certifications, Dr. Aronsky is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Board of Directors, a nationally recognized professional membership society that is the leader in setting standards and promoting excellence in sleep medicine health care, education and research.

Amy J. Aronsky, DO, FCCP, FAASM, CBSM, Capital Health Center for Sleep Medicine

Dr. Aronsky earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. She received her fellowship training in pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, and sleep disorders medicine from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Aronsky served as medical director of the Center for Sleep Disorders at St. John Medical Center in Longview, WA. She was also an adjunct professor of clinical medicine at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Yakima, WA.

In her role on the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Board of Directors, Dr. Aronsky serves on the Finance Committee and the Presidential Task Force on the Future of Sleep Medicine. She also serves as an AASM delegate of the Current Procedural Terminology and the Relative Value Scale Update Committee for the American Medical Association (AMA). She actively participates in several AMA subcommittees. She is also a regular contributor and reviewer for clinical journals such as Critical Care Medicine and Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine as well as an invited speaker at medical professional conferences across the country.
