Meet Our Radiologists

Capital Health’s Department of Radiology offers full time, board certified radiologists, with specialty training crossing the spectrum of radiologic services, including interventional radiology, neuroradiology, body imaging (including CT, MRI, PET/CT and ultrasound), musculoskeletal radiology, nuclear medicine, mammography, and molecular breast imaging.

Dr. Yaakov Applbaum 

Yaakov N. Applbaum, MD
Chairman and Medical Director, Department of Radiology

Dr. Applbaum received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York. His residency in radiology at Maimonides Medical Center was followed by a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center. He previously served as chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Staten Island University Hospital. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology and neuroradiology.

 
Dr. Ajay Choudhri 

Ajay Choudhri, MD
Assistant Director, Department of Radiology
Section Chief, Interventional Radiology

Dr. Choudhri received his medical degree from the New Jersey Medical School, UMDNJ, Newark. His residency in radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, was followed by a fellowship in interventional radiology at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. He previously served as chief of Interventional Radiology at Jackson South Hospital in Miami. He is board certified in radiology and vascular medicine.

Dr. Brad Hoppenfeld

Brad Hoppenfeld, MD
Medical Director, Mammography and Breast Interventions

Dr. Hoppenfeld received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He joined Capital Health from Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, NJ, where he was the head of interventional radiology, and from Kennedy Hospital System, Cherry Hill, NJ, where he specialized in both diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Dr. Hoppenfeld received his fellowship training from Montefiore Medical Center & Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY in cardio-thoracic, vascular and interventional radiology with clinical expertise in general radiology including: MRI/MRA, CT, ultrasound, fluorography, nuclear medicine, all facets of interventional radiology, and mammography. He has a special interest in mammography and breast procedures including biopsies and MRI.

 
Dr. James Callahan 

James Callahan, MD
Dr. Callahan received his medical degree from the State University of New York—Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his residency in diagnostic radiology. He has practiced in this community for many years, at Mercer Medical Center, and subsequently at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital—Hamilton, prior to his return to Capital Health. He is board certified in radiology.

 
Dr. Robert Collins 

Robert Collins, MD
Dr. Collins received his medical degree from New York Medical School in Valhalla, NY. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship training in interventional radiology/angiography and ultrasound/CT at State University of New York—Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He served as chairman of Radiology at Capital Health prior to moving to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital—Hamilton, and returning to Capital in 2009. He is board certified in radiology.

 
Dr. Andrew Kim 

Andrew E. Kim, MD
Dr. Kim is board certified in radiology and nuclear medicine. After graduating from New York Medical College, he completed his residency in radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in nuclear medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He previously served at Frankford Hospitals in Pennsylvania prior to coming to Capital Health.  

Dr. Sangit Malliah  Sangit B. Malliah, MD
Dr. Malliah received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed his residency at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden and received his fellowship training in body imaging from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. 
Dr. Bradd Millian 

Bradd R. Millian, MD
Dr. Millian received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Boston University Medical Center and received his fellowship training in neuroradiology from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He is board certified in radiology and neuroradiology.

 
Dr. Anne Moch 

Anne L. Moch, MD
Dr. Moch received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Moch served as section chief of Women’s Imaging at Jeanes Hospital in the Temple University Health System and clinical assistant professor of Radiology at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She also previously held positions as a diagnostic radiologist at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA and Methodist Hospital as part of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia (where she served as section chief of Ultrasound and clinical assistant professor of Radiology at Jefferson Medical College).

Dr. Moch completed her internship at Medical Center of Delaware in Newark, DE and her residency training in diagnostic radiology from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she also served as chief resident. She also performed fellowship work in musculoskeletal radiology at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, NY. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology. She has special interest in breast imaging including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, breast specific gamma imaging, molecular breast imaging, lymphoscintigraphy, and breast interventional procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guided biopsies as well as needle localizations. 

Dr. Ramdas Prabhu 

Ramdas M. Prabhu, DO
Dr. Prahbu received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ and received his fellowship training in neuroradiology from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. He is board certified in neuroradiology.  

Dr. Richard Rosenthal 

Richard E. Rosenthal, DO
Dr. Rosenthal is a graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, and completed his residency in radiology at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals. He received his fellowship training in MRI at University of Pittsburgh. He was a radiologist at Cooper University Medical Center for many years prior to coming to Capital Health. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.  

Dr. Eric Schwartz 

Eric I. Schwartz, MD
Dr. Schwartz completed a fellowship in body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, he completed his residency in radiology at Cooper University Medical Center. He received his fellowship training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY. He is board certified in radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and previously was a body imaging specialist at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital and Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia.  

Dr. Natalya Soloveychik 

Natalya Soloveychik, DO
Dr. Soloveychik, fluent in Ukranian and Russian, is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/UPMC Mercy, followed by her fellowship training in neuroradiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Department of Radiology in Baltimore, MD. She is board certified in radiology.  

 

Abhishek Srinivas, MD
Dr. Srinivas received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He then completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is a specialist in both interventional radiology and interventional oncology. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
