Education and Training

Welcome to Capital Health Education and Training Programs
Capital Health has had a long-standing involvement in medical education. It is one of the network of affiliates of the Robert Wood Johnson University School of Medicine of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of the State of New Jersey. The Internal Medicine Residency Program is sponsored solely by Capital Health. Capital Health co-sponsors a Family Practice Residency Program along with the Robert Wood Johnson University Family Practice Department.
In addition, the Capital Health School of Nursing offers a two-year, cooperative nursing program with Mercer County Community College. All nursing courses are offered at the nursing school, located on Bellevue Avenue in Trenton, NJ, while basic humanities and science courses are taught at the college.
The school of nursing combines a rich history of both Mercer Medical Center and Helene Fuld School of Nursing. It carries over a century of excellence in educating healthcare professionals.
