Suzanne Borgos joined Capital Health in 2013 as vice president of Planning for the healthcare system. In this role, Borgos is responsible for the health system’s long-term strategic planning process, and provides forecasting, decision support, and new business opportunity evaluations for the system.
Borgos came to Capital Health from Health Strategies & Solutions (HS&S) in Philadelphia. In her five years with HS&S, she served first as senior consultant; was then promoted to manager; and then became a principal for the healthcare strategy firm.
While at HS&S, Borgos partnered with healthcare administrators and clinical leaders to help create a vision and implementation plan for the development of centers of excellence within key service lines and led strategic planning engagements for academic medical centers, community hospitals and health systems around the country.
Prior to joining HS&S, Borgos served in several administrative positions at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, the nation’s third largest, non-profit, secular healthcare system. During her time at North Shore-LIJ, she held numerous administrative positions including senior administrative director for neurosurgery, with responsibility for day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and programmatic growth.
Borgos earned master’s degrees in health care administration and business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Villanova University. She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
